Build on the Light
" And God said, Let there be light: and there was light" (Genesis 1:3)
Before God formed the universe or did any major work at creation He placed Himself at the very centre of it all. 1 John 1:5 tells us that God is light and Him there is no darkness at all. Therefore, from day one we see the intentionality of our Father; He not only wants order in everything that He does but all is built on Him. He is the very foundation of this universe and because He is light He does not bring confusion, mess or darkness, those things are never of God.
When we build ourselves on God, the Lighthouse, we will never fail. In the same manner He dispelled darkness at creation, He will always remove all the associates of darkness from our lives. Psalm 119:130 says that the entrance of God's Word gives light and understanding to the simple. Therefore as long as we eat of the Word which is God Himself darkness can never have the upper hand in our lives.

Father we thank You for being the centre of it all and teach us how to continuously build on You amen.
