Joy Killer

The Jews therefore said unto him that was cured, It is the sabbath day: it is not lawful for thee to carry thy bed. He answered them, He that made me whole, the same said unto me, Take up thy bed, and walk. (John 5:10-11).

For thirty eight years the man in today's scripture laid at the pool not having anyone to assist him to step in, yet as soon as he got his healing the Jews came running with their rituals regarding the Sabbath. However, the man was so liberated that nothing or anyone could stop him from testifying about what Jesus had done.

As children of God the devil hates the fact that we are free and will do all it takes to bring us back to that low place. He will try to play on our minds and our emotions to make us feel guilty or doubt the miracle that has been done in our lifes. Therefore, it is extremely importance that we understand the work Jesus Christ has done in our hearts and be ready to share it wherever we go.

Let us pray

Holy Father grant us the grace needed that we will notmallow the enemy to steal the work You continue to do in our hearts amen.
